Rich and Fuzzy Brownies with a Gooey Chocolate Center

Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
chopped almonds (optional)
Instructions:
Melt butter, mix with sugar, eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa and salt.
Combine wet and dry mixture.
Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
Cool, then cut into squares.
