Tender Oven-Baked Chicken Coated with Garlic and Parmesan Crust
Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken: Tender oven-baked chicken coated in a garlic
and Parmesan crust.

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Test for salt and pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedge (for serving)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with
parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray.
Prepare the breadcrumb mixture: In a shallow bowl, mix
together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried oregano,
paprika, salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients well.
Coat the chicken: Brush both sides of each chicken breast
with a thin layer of olive oil. Dip each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture,
pressing the mixture down onto the chicken.
Place on baking sheet: Place coated chicken breasts on
prepared baking sheet.
Bake: Bake in preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or
until chicken is cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
The coating should be golden and crispy.
Garnish: Once baked, remove the chicken from the oven and
garnish with fresh chopped parsley for freshness.
Serve: Serve Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken with lemon wedges
on the side to squeeze over the chicken before serving.
Suggestion:
You can adjust the amount of parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs
according to your taste and preference.
Feel free to add other herbs and spices to the breadcrumb
mixture, such as thyme, rosemary or even a pinch of red pepper flakes for some
heat.
To ensure even cooking, you can use a meat thermometer to
check the internal temperature of the chicken.
Serve the chicken with your favorite side such as roasted
vegetables, mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
This Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a simple and delicious
dish that is easy to prepare and perfect for a satisfying dinner. The crispy
and cheesy crust pairs wonderfully with the tender chicken.
